Things to note when thinking of having a runner installed.

• Runners look best with atleast 14cm on either side of the runner.
• The exposed edges will need to be decorated prior to the runner fitting. 
• The installation process requires two visits; to template the runner, and finally to install

If opting for stair rods to go with your stairs runner, this can normally be done on the same day the runner is installed. Note however, that bespoke stair rods may take up to 14 days to be manufactured, in which case the installation visits could extend to three.
